Duffy Kennedy’s $15 million design and construct project at Neutral Bay comprises thirteen oversized three bedroom luxury apartments. Built into the sandstone escapement with an expressive façade the building is striking. The generously sized balconies are wrapped in glass balustrades allowing for uninterrupted views and strategically-placed lourves that shade from the glare. The interior is an example of elegant minimalism working in tandem with refreshingly low-tech sensibilities. With bespoke finishes of the highest caliber each apartment will be meticulously finished.
Working closely with the Architect and consultant team Duffy Kennedy has implemented design and quality management systems to ensure this high quality development is realized.
Aria Bondi Junction
Duffy Kennedy was chosen for the construction of these 9 Luxury Apartments with their eye on efficiency and attention to detail. The large amounts of stone works, exclusive bedrooms and large entertaining areas all of which encompass the views of Bondi. The structure is an old art of Duffy Kennedy’s with a piling and shoring system that will deliver a double level car park with solid foundations in rock.
This boutique development of nine luxurious wholefloor apartments commands sweeping views over Sydney Harbour. Each residence spans over 200m2 and features natural timber floor boards, Italian stone bathrooms, individual security lift access with detailed joinery in all bedrooms and living areas. Being a landlocked site, Aria required all the expertise in ground works which Duffy Kennedy is renowned for. Contiguous piling was undertaken to the perimeter of the site, until bedrock was founded. Without anchoring rights, the shoring required 100 tonne vertical anchors and walers to ensure the stability of neighbouring properties. The 18 metre excavation (including the sub-floors) was completed within four months. The project has been widely acclaimed receiving an award for diverse design and construction at the International Architectural Awards in Chicago.
