The Presbyterian Theological Centre and Seniors Living Units is a “mixed use” complex for independent seniors residential living and PCNSW educational services. The development consists of four buildings: two Residential, one Heritage and one mixed use/educational.
The mixed use building (Stage 1 of 2) rises to 9 levels, for which the Independent Seniors Living Units occupies the top 5 levels. The structure and façade of these levels were constructed during Stage 1 of the project, being the PCNSW’s Theological College (click here to view this portion of the project).
The 42 Seniors Independent Living units (2 and 3 bedroom apartments and Community Room facility) were constructed as Stage 2 of the development.
The buildings are conventionally built with traditional reinforced concrete structure, finished externally with face brickwork, render, ‘Terraçade’ cladding system, powdercoated aluminium windows and stainless steel frameless balustrades to balcony upstands.
Units were finished internally with polyurethane and timber veneer kitchens, Caesarstone benchtops, and carpet throughout, for which we integrated to a flush-finish to every balcony utilising pedestal porcelain tile installation.
The apartments are serviced via a two-level underground basement inclusive of car wash bay, and two lifts each to Building A (11 stops) and Building B (6 stops).
Total Residential Area = 8,600m²
Total Commercial Area = 4,000m²
Total Basement Area = 3,460m²
